I am thinking of getting some new BFG Traction T/A tires for my cab to replace the OEM Goodyears. The stock size is 205/55R16. I am going to keep the stock rims but was considering going up to a size of 215/50R16. Will this larger and wider tire work out okay?
Sure. But it is only 10mm wider than stock and is actually smaller in overall height, 24.46 versus 24.88 inches for stock.
Go up to 225/50r16's. I run that size on both my Cavys with no problem.
