In the past I have just used Soap & water with a microfiber rag on my old 17"s.... Now that i have a brand new set of rims that are completely flawless, Just curious as to what everyone else uses? Heh... i don't want to ruin them in anyway after what i had to spend on them.

Soap and Water is your friend. I was told that if your rims have a clear coat on them only use soap and water and probably dry off with a baby diaper cloth which i find works the best. Then if you want hit them with a coat of wax. B/c if you use any kind of cleaner on them it could wreck the clear coat and the rim company would void your warranty on the rims if your clear starts to peel off.

Personally myself I use some car soap and a real lamb skin wash mit on them. Dry my wheels off with a baby diaper then if I find there not shiny enough I hit them with some Meguiars wax and clean with more baby diapers.

My 2 bits,

i havent had a problem using castrol superclean, just wash it off as quick as possible. i havent found any harmful side effects, but i dont want to be the one who finds out either. works great for cleaning tires too.

Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!

Well I just used some car wash and water like I always have done in the past. This set of wheels are soo much easier to clean every part of them unlike my old BBS style. Then shined them up with some wheel wax and called it a day. The insane tire shine will go on at the car show saturday morning.

I've been using DuPont wheel cleaner on my Koni's. The nice thing is the stuff has Teflon in it, and it leaves a nice coat of it on the wheels so I don't have to clean them as often. When I do clean them, I basically just have to spray the cleaner on them, then rinse them off and wipe them dry with a soft cloth. I've been using it for about 3 months now, and I don't think i'll use anything else to clean my wheels.

I've used Armor all Quick Silver and Eagle One. Both work great for me.

Just warm soap and water. Act as if your bathing yourself

The clear coat started peeling on my old 18" Motegi DP5's and when I called Motegi (American Racing), they asked if I had used any wheel cleaners and I said, "No, I always just use soap & water". They STILL wouldn't warranty the rims. They said that I could pay to have them sent to Cali to be "analyzed" to see what caused the clear coat to peel off but I'd have to pay shipping there and ("if I wanted them back" is what they said), I'd have to pay shipping back to WV too. Yeah, like they would've ever said that it was something wrong on their part anyways.

In other words, use soap and water only (and hope that you don't have defective rims or anything).
