I was looking on tirerack.com and found a wheel that is 7.5" wide and the recommended tire size was 215/45/17. Wouldn't that stretch the tire if it was going on a 7.5" wide rim? I would have thought that a 225 would have been recommended at the least. Please correct me if i'm wrong. Also how will it affect the speedometer if you would use a 215/45 tire on a 7.5" wide rim? Thanks.

its an ok size to use. it wont be off by much at all. maybe like .2 mph. 225 is the closest and best choice but 215 isnt that bad
