Anyone know for the last gen of cav's the weight of the 14" steelies v. 16" aluminum wheels? Tried checking around on here and didn't find anything related to that.

Probably around 15lbs. no tire.
GM is notorious for making horribly heavy aluminum wheels. I had a set of 18" wheels lined up... they were only 18lbs each. AME Shallens... ... they were like almost $2000 for the set though.

I suppose there's really no point in upping to factory 16's since I'll just be bleeding horsepower. 7 extra pounds at each of the drive wheels just seems too steep.
I'll have to hold out for a good deal at Tirerack.

I have 17" wheels that weigh ~13lbs each and got them for $400...
