Asymmetrical vs Directional tread patterns

Has anyone had experience with both asymmetrical and directional tread patterns? If so which ones felt better and what tires do you recommend for high preformence.?
Any replies would be helpful.

Thanks
Anthony

i've got regular tires on my cav and directional on my wife's car and my brothers car. i don't know about which is better for performance, but i know that i hate rotating the directinal tires because you can't really rotate them, just swap front to back.

oh and my wife/brothers directional tires pick up more road noise than my normal tires. they're all three different brands so i don't know if thats each individual tire or if directionals just get more noise.

GO PATS!!!

Directional patterns are there for better performance (ie in rain and snow), as their treads obviously are setup differently. As for rotating, one doesnt have to always go front to back, you can unmount and remount to X the tires if you will.

Which pattern would you prefer for high preformance in dry conditions?

For dry, go with directional

go with the best of both...

directional and assymetrical.

the BFG G-Force T/A KD's are both directional and assymetrical. when ordering, 2 left and 2 right sides need to be ordered.

pretty cool.

Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!
