I have been running my tires for about 3 summers and i have noticed the outside of the tires are wearing more the the rest of the tire on all 4 tires.
I got an alignment when it was lowered but with the stock wheels on then i put the 18's on with 215/40 R18 Hankooks on after that.
Would putting the 18's on cause such a small positive camber increase due to it maybe being slightly larger than stock or is it just the windy roads i drive on every once in a while?? I do not abuse the tires at all.
Well when you drive on the windy roads do you like to corner hard?
Because I'm not an expert with camber, but I know excessive high speed cornering wears out the outside tread much faster than the rest of the tire. Its a no no when you want to have your tires last. But its up to how you drive the car, I know I'm guilty of it, but my tires aren't really worn out on the edges. Thats all I can think of right now.
I wouldnt say i drive them very hard..maybe a little every once in a while but i wouldnt think enough to cause that...
it is light wear but still thought it wouldnt hurt to ask
yeah my tires are wearing hard on the outsides. I have cornered hard on some turns, but it isn't an everday thing.

Just because you got it aligned doesn't mean much. They set the camber, caster, and toe to the best they can, but it doesn't mean that it will take away problems like yours. Lowering a vehicle severely messes with the camber, caster, toe, SAI angle...

Is it possible the springs have settled a little more since the alignment if the alignment was done right after lowering the car.
