well as of tomorrow im going to be ordering these ADR's for my 2005 red cavalier. they are bronze rims and 18 x 7.5 w/ Kumho Ecsta 711 225/45/18 rubber. tell me what you guys think.............
lol thats almost identical to my setup. im running the same tire and pretty much the same rim. i believe those are the fuels though and im running cyphers (the same rim minus the rivets)
there OK but I'm not a fan of bronze, black would be better.
Silver Stripey makes your Day!
Hell of a tire you got there, little big don't you think??? 215/40/18 would be the best size.

WELL....if you go by wild weasils calculator...the 215/40/18 is more closer to the stock diameter than the 225's ...believeit or not. the 225/40's is more of the popular choice on the org.i have 215/40/18's on my j,and i couldnt be any happier. 225's are just gonna give you alittle more beefier tire thats all.

lol i didnt even catch that, yea it should be a 225/40/18 tire not a 225/45/18
nice i've got a set of those, they were on my lude but now they are going on my sunbird vert.

whats the worst that could happen?
i would have more tire on the road?
lol..............
no its gonna throw your speedo off and later down the road your odometer is gonna be off too
how much is my speedo going to be off by?
Get 205/40 anything else is too chubby!
ha like what .2 miles an hour.
"
boobs now with Riboflabin"
It'll probably be off by like 2mph at 60 actually. Don't forget it also has an effect on your odometer and trip.
You'll most likely rub with that size too, you're adding roughly 31mm to the total diameter of the tire... go look at your tires now, and imagine them 31mm taller.
i just emailed the guy at RacePerformanceParts and asked him to check if they would rub and if they do i asked for 225/40/18 tires.

Hey Neil,
225/40/18 is the correct tire size. The size is listed wrong on our website. It's the same price for everything with the 225/40/18 Kumhos. I'll be sending you an email here in a few minutes.
Thanks.
even if they dont rub you still want the 40 series tire cuz the 45 will @!#$ everything up.
raceperformance is a good company. i bought a kit off of them like 3-4yrs back
ok thanks RacePerformanceParts you should send an email to my dad verifying that the tires are 225/40/18 but other than that......HURRY UP AND SHIP THEM!!!!! i need them asap.
