Anyone have a picture a set of American Racing Estrella or Casino wheels on a 95-up cavalier. 16" is preferred, but any size will do?

I don't need anything extraordinary. Just something that will look better than the factory hub caps I have now, while staying in a fairly modest budget. If not American Racing do you have any suggestions?

Motegi rims arent the worlds best, but they are better than stock and a medium priced wheel.

Look at ADR or Motegi wheels. Also Rota makes cheap/good looking wheels.

Any opinions on these? I personally like them.

those are real nice looking. i don't know about ebay stuff though...

also, i thought the most offset we could handle without running into problems was 44, i'm probably wrong though, i haven't had to deal with rim stuff for a few years.

GO PATS!!!

This is my first time dealing with wheels. I'm even completely sure what the offset of a wheel is. I guess that's why i'm posting on here though. Anyone have some knowledge to be shared on the subject.

After looking at the wheel/tire size FAQ, I now know what offset is. However, my research through the forums for weather or not a 17x7 wheel with 48mm offset will fit on a J-body is inconclusive due to v arying opinions. I realize this is a repost, but I would like to know for sure. Is there anyone with this setup who can confirm beyond any doubt that it will fit. In case it is a deciding factor I have no suspension modifications. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

a 17x7 with a 48 will fit. Typically between 35-48 will fit fine. One thing you may not have found out and some people still dont understand is that with a 48mm it's going to suck into the wheel well more. Your stock is 42 (ithink) so with a larger offset, the wheels go in. With the 35mm 5zigen fnorc1 wheels that im getting (which are also 17x7, and my car is lowerd.) the 35mm is going to shove them more out of the wheel well. get it? lower the offset, further out they sit, higher the offset the more in they sit.

and thank you for searching. I don't know how long you've been here but if you stick around you'll get tired of questions that are a little more on the common sense side. No offense to you, you just didn't know. we all start somewhere

Thanks for the help. I was getting worried that no one would respond. Excellent explanation though.

I do my best to have some idea of what i'm talking about before asking a question. However, this is my first time dealing with wheels & tires, so i'm kind of starting fresh.

BTW Motegi Racing = American Racing. Check their website! The contact info has the same address for both companies. Most probably know this, but thought I'd throw it out there.

And Eagle Alloys makes, MSR, Boss, VooDoo and a few more. I have MSR 047's

Eagle basically steals everyones designs and then remakes em. Basically cheap replicas. Ran em my whole life!
