I just placed an order for the American Racing Fusions! They are 17X7.5 witha 40mm offset. I was wondering what size tire I should get for them? I would like the tire to be as wide as possible. I would like to hear what you guys think about them, I have seen no other Cavalier with them. They are chrome so flame all you want but I like chrome.

I won't flame the chrome part, but the design is horrible (IMO) for a Cavalier.


Anyway...

You'll want to run a 225/45-17 on that wheel.

Those look like they belong on a Mustang...

I thought about getting the Z24 wheel, but I wanted 17's. I am going for the classic look.

You could, but it won't look good, it's bulge a lot around the edge of the wheel. It'll look like the 205/55-16's on the stock 16x6 wheels.

225/45-17 is plenty of rubber for the wheel, and the car. With a 40mm offset you might rub a 235.
