i have found a few tire sites online, and they all seem to be pretty close to each other.
then i found tires.com and they give free shipping as well as great prices on tires. but my friend told me they sell refurbished or damaged tires from other places. is that true?
how is thier shipping and are they easy to deal with? are there any other companies that would be better?

I just got my wheels and tires from tiresdelivered.com and they are great. Cheap prices and excellent customer service. They are in Cincy and shipping to my place was only $50.00 or so. Check them out to see if they have what you need. Be advised, they do not ship lugs with your package. Also, they do sell packages but they are with tires that they choose. I suggest that you add the tires that you want to your cart then pick out the wheels and they always mount and balance them for free.

I have ordered from Discount Tire before. No problems. Very friendly, with fast service. I have never heard of the "refurbished or damaged tires" rumor. They sell stuff on eBay also, and I have won wheels from them. Again, very friendly, with fast service.
If in doubt, call the tire manufacturer and ask them if they are an authorized dealer.
^^^Same here. I've bought 3 sets of tires from tires.com. I've never had a single problem and they've alsways had them to me in a few days.
