WHEEL ADAPTERS
Friday, April 28, 2006 2:42 PM
I was wondering if anyone knows where to get some 1" 5x100 to 5x100 wheel adapters? I have stock 15" wheels and the rear wheels stick inside the fender so far , it looks horrible.. Can someone help me out on this one.

Yeah Ebay has several widths to choose from. I was thinking about 15mm spacers for the rear myself, but how badly would that affect handling if at all? And has anyone had problems wth aftermarket wheel fitment with the spacers?

Ya, an inch would be a bit much for a "spacer", thats's why im looking for an adapter...Wich i still haven't found yet.

I guess I am just saying an inch is quite a bit, period! but I have never seen it, so it may look good, just seems like an awful lot to me

Ebay has them, and if you go to H&R's website, the Traxx spacers for the PT Cruiser and the Neon are the exact same as the ones for our car, and the hub opening is even the right diameter.

there are a few on ebay (adapters) that say to name your pattern...... I'm sure you can get a 5x100 - 5x100....... although kinda odd.... (I do understand why though..... since the adapter will bolt to your stock lugs, then the wheel bolts to the adapter..... instead of just using really long wheel studs and a spacer)

was almost thinking of getting a 5x115 - 5x100...... then can do the N body IRS and front brake swap.... and still use stock Z wheels....... just 1" is a bit more then I would like to push the wheels out.
