Lets say i wanted to put some street legal drag tires on my 14 steelies... What would you all sugest?
You know I would be like
USE THE SEARCH BUTTON but I would like to know the same info for myself so Ill jump on the boat w/ Phlat cav.
I have heard the Mickey Thompsons are the best when it comes to drag radials but as of last year I dont think they made any that fit our cars so you would have to go with a Geforce t/a of some sort.

You can make a M/T fit our cars easily. Suncavi runs a 8in one and Hahn has run both 8in and 10in M/Ts. But because he said STREET Legal, probably meaning it has to be a DOT tire, I would suggest a BFG Drag Radial. Great traction and decent mileage if you have to drive then to the track. I run a 205/50/14 I believe it is but the 215 one would also work.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

I'm runing Nitto drag radials. They are DOT approved. I will have to double check my sizes, but I think 205/55/14. THey are a great tire. I have also heard good things about BFG drag radials, but they wear quicker than nitto's, and even Nitto's wear fast as well. I truly would not recommend them for a daily driver. In the rain they are just like a drag radial on a RWD car, you will float around.
