Wheel well space left open?

Does anyone have pictures of a stock height 03+ Cavalier with some 17" rims (type doesnt matter) and some 215/45R17 tires on it? I'm trying to figure out what the space left is going to look like....thought this might help.

I'm trying to get a body kit and rims and I'd really rather not lower the car any but if I have to I will, but for right now I just want to see what the rims/tires are gonna leave space wise....thank you in advance! Bye!

it will leave the same space is its at now. whenever you upgrade the rims you get the right tires to match the stock overall diameter so nothing is thrown off. therefor its still the same gap but the large rims it makes the gap look even bigger. its a weird optical illusion

That should be enough to scare you. Don't do it - I did it because my struts/springs were going on in a week so I said what the heck.

Well, my agenda is this....I'm getting new rims Motegi DP10's and tires....and then a full drift body kit....My little thing is, I don't know how high the kit is going to sit off the ground. I want to stay within the overall stock dia. of tires to keep my speedo the same (may sound stupid but eh) I will lower the car in future IF i can lower it to reduce gap WITHOUT getting the kit too close to the ground....all I need is to constantly scrape my new kit all to heck. And this is my daily driver to, so the suspension I will get later on in future will have to be good enough for comfortable ride.

well i'll tell you right now its gonna look like a 4x4 and all goofy if you put rims and a kit on it. the drift kit is low as it is so if you do lower it then your going have to get a quality suspension so you dont break your kit

I figured the kit was low...so IDK, I guess I'll figure it out somehow on what I really need to buy and do....cause I'm new to suspension and all this, so I'm pretty lost...but I know I want that kit.

So in all seriousness, my choices are to get bigger rims/tires to fil the space? a high quality suspsension, or just lose the kit? Hmmmm....I'll talk to wootburger or w/e his name is as he has the same EXACT setup as I'm going for.

big rims will not fill the gap, it will make it look more jacked up.

225/45/17 look and ride better that 215, and have the most correct speedo like 97cavie24ls said.

I personally like 235/45 better, but it will throw off the speedo a tad.
