OBVIOUSLY YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN A VEHICLE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND THEY HIT A POT HOLE AND THEIR RIM CRACKS IN HALF OR DENTS REALLY BAD. THATS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU BUY CHEAP RIMS, BUT HEY WHAT DO I KNOW. YEAH ITS WORTH IT TO BUY CHEAP WHEELS AND THEN HAVE TO REPLACE THEM WHEN SOMETHING LIKE THAT HAPPENS AND WHEN THE FINISHING STARTS TO CAME OFF. MAKES A WHOLE LOT OF SENSE TO BUY CHEAP STUFF. JUST LIKE TENNIS SHOES, YOU BUY PAY LESS AND SEE HOW LONG THEY LAST AND KEEP FROM STAINING, AND THEN BUY ADIDAS AND SEE HOW LONG THEY LAST. SAME THING, BUT HEY DO WHAT YOU WANT.

exactly! i know what its like. now a days people are more cheap and want everything for as cheap as possible. cheap things come at a price. i had a cheap set of konig verdict knock offs and the metal on those things were so damn cheap. i hit a small pothole at like 45mph and put a huge dent in my rim. on the other hand my adrs are great. ive hit 10x worse holes w/ those and theres not even an indentation on the lip.

Wow, defensive much? Ever thought even expensive, brand name rims could possibly suffer the same damage?! Just the same as a more inexpensive rim could possibly be damaged. You make it sound like if anyone gets a good deal on a set of wheels they'll burst into pieces after the first pothole you hit.

no.. but cheap rims are just that... cheap...

I have never bought any rims but name brand never had a problem, a few friends of mine but no names and had problems with finished being tainted and rims bending

It's all chance. The coating on my Konigs, OMGNAMEBRANDWHEELS!, came off within a few months and I've seen name brand rims cracked in half before, and no one ever said they were "cheap" wheels. They happen to be on, you know, SALE.
