Have a 93 Cavalier with stock 14" steel wheels. I would like to attach dish style center caps like you see on alot of police cruisers. Black wheels with a chrome cap . Is there a cap that will work or is there a way to fabricate an attachment to hold it on. Any help is appreciated. Thanx

Some ideas I have thought of that may work or may not. Fabricate a tripod type bracket (seems I have seen this before) that each of three legs fit over/under the lug/nut with a threaded center at top of cone. Weld threaded bolt to inside of center cap then spin it on wheel. Maybe use reverse threads on left side wheels. Or get a cap with a recessed center to drill hole to run bolt thru. Then you would have to cover bolt head some way or use fancy chrome air cleaner spinner bolt. What do ya think? Can you think of any center caps available would fit and look good?
