Those splinedrives are a lot more money, I think I will go with the regular lugs and locks.

How are they any better, Both have the same guarantee? I won't be taking the off much so I don't see any benefit.

Depends on the design of the wheel if they will work...

Here is my budget lugs and locks for a MBMotoring 747 wheel...

Gorilla lugs...

McGard locks (but in chrome)...

I have to use a thin wall spark plug socket, minus the rubber insert, for the lugnuts.

I say go spline drive as well. I have a set of dark chrome spline drive lugs and a lock set. Now I have a new lock set due to the local Tire Barn snapping off one of my locking lugs because they used an impact gun to try to take it off. Idiots.

A more accurate observation has never been typed. These should be the starting points before any serious performance modification. What's the point of making a serious performer if you can't control it's power?

did you even read the link? 1 i think they are 10 times easier to get off. you dont have any open ends so you dont have to worry about rounding anything off and it grips almost twice the amount of stud

Yeah I read it, I still don't think its worth it. I have never had a problem before with the normal mcgaurd nuts and locks, I just think they want more money for these.

if u dont believe any of that link and dont think its worth the money, then buy whatever u want. you will learn. lugnuts arnt something u wanna cheap out on.

also the splinedrives have a rotating seat surface, so they dont damage the small holes of a tuner wheel. its a good investment. trust us.
