I doubt anyone here has them, they don't make a size that would work for us.

Actually they do make them in a size that fits cavaliers. Last i checked a 225-45-17 would fit.

Yes, your right but, How many people here are going to use a 17" drag radial? Its just exrta weight and no sidewall. I guess I should have said they don't make a size that will work well for us.

Your telling me a 205/50/15 wont work?
Also
Craig has them, he's only made a few passes on them that I know of, I thought about buying these as well.

Yes, thats another that would work but its about 2" to short. It will help you gearing but being that small, it will hurt you in the top end. I would stick with something around 24"s Like a 215/60/14 or 225/50/15 Neither of which nitto makes in those tires. Those cost a lot of money and I bet they don't hook as good as the BFG's do.

so it seems most of the people on this site are partial to the bf drag radials
Yeah, they are very very sticky. Much better than the nitto 555 drag radials, I don't know about the new ones but the are more money to. I had the nittos and the bfg's on my last car, I dropped .1 atleast every run with them vs the nittos and I never spun. They didn't last as long as the nittos on the street but, I didn't care about that, they are track tires.

bringing back. looking to use this as a summer tire. treadwear rating is 100. can i except 5000 miles out of them assuming their not going to be beat or used for burn outs?

The link posted earlier is not for a drag radial. Go to
NITTO and hover over tire lineup. Choose NT01 and you will read that its a road racing tire. The NT555R is the drag radial. I think the NT01 would be a fun set of short mileage summer tires... except they don't make a 225/50/16 for either of us.
