never seen it. i know they arent the best tires but i never even heard people w/ those tires complain about anything like that happening

yeah the tires suck but it was a great deal on the package. They're coming off for winter anyways. Looks like it time to upgrade!

No, as you can see I'm still 4x4'n it. There is also a jagged crack(I don't know how or when)

Could just be from one too many hits slamming the tire against the wheel.

You've got just about no sidewall there to flex and protect itself. Next time, get properly sized tires and you'll be better off. 205/40/17 is ridiculously small for these cars.
