Hey guys! I am looking for a new set of rims and i have no idea what to go with or what is good quality! There are so many brands out there! I have looked at Katana, Motegi, Veloche, oz, and ADR. Any other suggestions? I am looking for a wider rim, maybe 17x8. I have owned eagle alloys, and currently own Motegi MR7 and they suck. the clear coat wore right off. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated, i want a good solid rim that will last me a good while! thanks alot!

Why get 17 x 8? Since you're not going to get wider than a 225 tire for it, the extra width is just extra weight.

You'll do just fine with a 17x7.
