update, not a damn thing as of yet!! letter was mailed out 2 weeks ago, tracked, and arrived a week ago.......nothing as yet, not even a form letter
I my self use Meguiars hot rims on my stock 16 Z's and everyone i've talked to has had know problems with it eating the clear coat.

I'm using a wheel cleaner I got from the dollar store and I love it. Gets brake dust off pretty easy. (with a rag of course)

Stock... and loving every minute of it.
weird stuff like that happens when you spray some wheel cleaners on a hot wheel. it happened to me with simple green automotive.

got a call from black magic today, they will reimburse me for the damage to my rims. all i need is a quote from any company i want and they will reimburse me for the cost of repairs.
