This isnt really a problem more of a question, but its hard to explain.....it seems i have this weird obsession as i call it of having clean rims on my car. It seems after every place i go i am constantly wiping and cleaning my wheels (rims) on my car. They are just the stock chromies. Lately i have notice minimal scratches in some spots that probably really i would only notice. My question is that by wiping them off constantly gona cause scratches on them?

depends on the product/cleaner you're using. It really shouldn't, but things happen.

what i usually use it glass cleaner and a soft rag

I guess it probably happens when you "wipe" the dirt across the surface, its not really the method more than likely. It's hard to keep them perfect. I commend you for cleaning them so much.

But really and truly they are never dirty unless i drive in the rain which then i would wash my car anyways but by doing this daily is it gona eventually scratch them to hell?

do they really get that dirty that u need to clean them daily? i clean my rims maybe once a month and they still look perfect.

no they actually dont get dirty at all i just constantly keep them clean!

I clean my wheels every 2 or 3 days. But then again, mine are white. It's such a pain.
