hey guys and girls, i have 15's on my car with 195 65 15 tires. i wanna get the same rims in 17 with the 225 45 17 tires. i have a couple questions.
there shouldnt be a power loss or anything correct? and how much easier would the rims bend if i hit a pothole or something (not that i plan on it, but you know, just in case)
and from what i read in the faq, this upgrade should be almost exact to the diameter and speed at 65 that im driving now, so that means that there shouldnt be any rubbing or anything at all like that, correct?
thanks a lot

correct offset and tire will determine if they rub. you want something between 35-45mm offset and a tire size thats either 215/45/17 or 225/45/17. personally i would go w/ the 215/45/17. as for bending a rim, the 45 series is enough tire that it will still protect the rim fine unless you are going at a good speed and hit a decent size hole in the road. ive had rims for 4 yrs now and ive only nic'd one due to a huge pothole that i couldnt avoid. power loss, you probably wont even notice anything
thanks man
