My current 17's wieght 19.5 lbs a piece. I would like to get down to 15 lbs. Any one have any good suggestions for affordable 17 inch rims that wieght around 15 lbs ?

...define affordable, that is very vague, lol. I knew a kid who wanted a "set of dope looking rims, yo", and when I went with him to price them, he almost had a heart attck. I think he wanted to spend about 100 bucks for a set of 4, lol...
...Im looking for a set of lightweight 17s also. 19.5 is pretty light, but if you want lighter, seems like you gotta pay the piper. ive seen wheel/tire packages for some konigs for about 1000.00USD...the "holes" wheel looks nice, weighs about 17lbs. then you got motegi traklites, which are about 300 bucks each, per wheel, lol...about 14 lbs each. I personally am gonna go with a set of forged veloxs...TWELVE POUNDS for a 17. set with wheels and tires for about 1,400.00.
good luck.
...don't hate!.. respect people that have talent, even if it is in something you don't like or understand.
My Trak Lites ran me about $950 shipped for the set w/o tires and they weigh 14.5lbs
You'll be hard pressed to find a moderately priced set of 17's that weight 15 lbs a piece. Best you could to for under $200 a wheel are kosei k1's at 17"x7.5", but Tirerack is the only US distributor. They're backordered until mid August.
