I was thinking of 17's and that is most likely what I will be going with but i was just wondering what I would be getting into if i went 18's (same style rims)
would I have to adjust the speedo or anything and what about he extra weight and size, am i going to notice my car getting a lot slower........
My main question is should i just stick with 17's or do you think it would look better with 18's and still perform somewhat the same.....pictures on

With 17's or 18's you can keep the speedo the same. Just look at the FAQ at the top of the page. It'll show you what size tire to get for either 17 or 18.
As for which to go with, that's more of a personal choice. I went with 17's, cause I wanted a larger rim with the car, but didn't want to go too large. With 18's you have a lower profile tire, and that adds up to a stiffer ride. Being as this is the family ride, I didn't want to beat up the wife and daughter while riding around town. But if you like the 'sports car' feel, go with the 18's.
I may not know much about cars, but I know two things....
1) Breaking things is expensive, and
2) Horsepower isn't cheap.
get 18's they look much better
depends if your planning on daily driving or show ...
18s for show
17s just just normal driving

i have just switched from 17" to 18" and i think they handle worse(the 18") dont know why but makes my car feel light in corners. like its gonna break traction at low speeds.. but it may just be tire selection.
With having 18's apposed to 17's is there is risk in them denting if I hit an unexpected bump?

Theres a
greater risk with 18's as opposed to 17's, but with both, you have a lot less tire than stock so it's in your best interest to avoid potholes and such when you can.
go 18's especially if yer looking at deep dish rims
Not unintentionally accelerating since 2009!!!!
You can have a daily driver with 18's. I must say that 18's look way better than 17's no matter what style they are.
Daily driver with 18's and no problems here.
