I've tried searching for this setup but nothing came up.

I will be running 225/35/zr19 tires. I know I might have to roll my fenders. Aside from that, do you guys think I be ok? Or will I run into some rubbing issues with either the insides of the wheel well and struts?

I know there has been a few people running 19x8, 35mm offset with 225/35/zr19 tires but I'm not sure what suspension they have?

Any help would be appreciated.

You may end up slicing up your tires on the fenders and have to do some modifying to get the clearance you need.

Thats what Im running right now with Ground Controls. I had to roll all 4 fender lips. I rolled the fronts first but then sliced some of the sidewall on the rear so I had to roll those too. Going widebody so I dont have to worry about that anymore plus Ive got new 19s going on with fresh tires.

So I should be fine if I roll the lips on my fenders?

I rub on the inner fenders in the front but as you can see from my sig I like to slam my car. Sometimes its even lower than in my sig.

I'm not too worried about rubbing on the inner fenders. I'm more worried about shredding the tires.

just roll ur fenders for extra assurance

but I don't get it, why would you wanna deal with any of the above. It's no fun
driving and constantly thinking about bumps up ahead.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ how do you like them fuzions? i been lookin into gettin a set cuz of the treadwear ratings and how cheap they are especially for 19s but was kinda worried that they realy wont last as long as tey say they do. but for the price i jus wanna no hwat you think of them.

Some people say that they're not so good, that they don't grip all that well.
It hard for me to say because they are my first "performance tire". Nothing
for me to compare against, but I know I took some CRAZY turns and I can
stomp on the gas and there is not a squeak out of them. Now I know it's
a 140 hp car but still

The shop did tell me that they tested them and they can take a lot BUT if
you can't overdrive them because they will not regain grip. So if you take
and INSANE turn and u slip, your apperantly going for a ride. But I don't race
so I don't care.

Oh and they're Brigstone tires, just without Brigstone written on them, so
they cost less.

ok question. if i havent lowerd my car yet on stock suspension do i have to worry about 19x8's with 225/35/19's rubbing anything?? i am getting me a set tonight and need to know...

errrr, you migh possibly. whats the offset. i know with my wheels im gonna have to go to a 215-35-19 in order not to rub whenits lowered 2 inches.

not sure the offset... they are axis rims.... they are unilug 5X100 and 5X114 thats all i know

actually i just realized it the wheels are 225/35/19's

im with wojtek: man if you need to roll your fenders just to get a set of wheels on your car...its not worth it,way too many nice wheels out there to be buying a set with so wide of an offset. or buying a wheel just because of the name..but hey to each their own...........RUB ON

I was uneducated and I bought the wrong offset
that pic is my wheel 35mm offset

You could get the wheel milled down or add a spacer if your offset isnt correct. Ill be running 40mm offset with 5/16" spacers so it is flush with the widebody.

^^ what kind of rims do you have? mine look JUST like em.. are they axis wheels? if so i hope i dont have to do any milling etc on them.... but i am still on stock suspension so maybe i'll get lucky...

anyone know how i can figure the offset out since i have no clue what it is?

Hmm, they gotta be on the net somewhere. Go on a hunt and get a pic. From there
maybe we can figure out the make and model. Otherwise I really don't know.

Ohh and yeah I had my fenders rolled and cut. They were cut cuz I have a sedan and
you can't roll it where it's needed most. Also I must point out that my whole
suspensions was installed incorrectly by the shop. Since then it has been fixed up and
I'm on GC's now. I'm am set on the highest setting in the back (about a sportline drop I THINK) and I'm turned down one quarter in the front.

I rub on only severe dips, but no more cutting.

which area needs to get rolled the most? aside from being a sedan are there any other reasons why couldnt you roll it?

I had the most problems with the rear. god
forbid someone was in the back seat.

Reason is that on the back when the wheels
travel up on the suspension, they don't move
in a perfect vertical line. They move on a
foreword angle. So that's where it touches first
on the fender.

Now on the sedan, on the back fenders, that area
is the back of the door. So I was unable to roll it.
On 2-doors it's just a full fender that u can roll
all the way around. So you'll be ok. Just don't slam
the car too hard, or better yet don't get 35mm

Get something around 40-42 I think
