My issue is the track i race at checks for locked differentials. With the Team Green LSD, will it be permanently locked if i jack up one side of the car or will one tire spin freely at idle-2000 rpm?
no it will seem like its locked. it is a sprung block between both axles and locks them. it will allow it to slip when needed.
Our inserts have passed Tech on many tracks.
In that situation the Diff will act like an open Diff, and allow the grounded tire to remain still and the raised tire to spin. The demand for different tire speeds will over come the spring pressure/friction, and the plates shouldn't rotate into locking the gears from that low of RPM/Speed.
