Hello all, have a 02 Cavalier, auto trans slips a bit in 2nd gear only when in drive, but doesnt if you shift manually thru the gears, wonder if this could be a pcm issue?
Does it always slip in drive or only under certain circumstances? Like in second gear at specific speeds or rpm, or does it slip shifting into second or shifting from second into third? In my experience gears slipping aren't usually a problem the control unit unfortunately it's more likely to be a mechanical issue.
2002 Pontiac Sunfire SE Sedan 2.2l Ecotec 4 Speed Auto.
Shifts fine but while driving in 2nd gear revs up if you push it a bit, seems weird that it doesnt slip when shifted manually,
does the pcm control the line pressure?
