Alright I got a 96 cavalier z24 with the 2.4 and a 75 shot of nitrous. Every year our local town has an airport drag race and this year I wanted to give it all she had so I purchased a bottle heater to maintain 950 psi and I got a water injection kit for it. On the first time trial I let out the clutch and it started slipping right away so for the rest of the weekend I dropped the pressure and the shot. So my question is if I change my clutch so it doesn't slip in your guys opinion how much do I have before the tranny and cv shafts go? How durable are they?
If you are not doing hard launches etc.... you will be fine.
The diff in those like to explode with alot of hard launches. As long as you control your right foot and do not allow alot of wheel hop you should be fine.
