Hey guys, Ive got a problem with my Automatic Transmission linkage arm bushing.
The bushing went bad, engine side. I got the part and cleaned out the decrepit remnants and placed the new one in the arm, pushing it by hand until i heard it snap in. So far so good, until i go to attach it back on the transmission. Its in such an awkward place its hard to push it in, almost impossible.
Any ideas on how to get it into place? I was thinking i could use a ziptie to hold the linkage to the transmission, and then use pliers to push it on. The only problem is that its just a very cramped spot, any tips or tricks and advice as to what tools to use for this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I just recently replaced the whole cable(not fun). Mine popped on pretty easy somehow.
