car is a 2004 cavalier with f23 manual getrag trans, anyone know how to put the retaining C clip into hydraulic line to hold it into slave cylinder? do i push the line in and the push the clip in the slot to secure it, or put the c clip in and the push in the line (kind of like how a manual door crank pushes on when re installing it). thanks guys!

Either way will work. It's usually easier to put the clip in then push in the line though.
