I have an 04 sunfire ecotec and was changing the clutch. I had ordered the pressure plate bolts at the dealership, the first time about a week ago after waiting a week for them, I got torque converter to flex plate bolts. I then ordered an another set of bolts (M7x1.0x22mm 8.8) for 51.60$ got them today and the are too short. Now I have to wait another week for what I hope is the right set of bolts but they are charging me 18.80$ a piece (M7x1.0x27.75 10.9 part #11519056).
Is there a company that makes this size of bolts? My local ARP dealer said they didn't have any (they said the same thing about flywheel bolts but after searching on this sites I found that Vauxall 2.0 bolts work)
or
Anybody have luck getting them custom made?
I'd look at the MC Master car catolog. They have everything.

Thanks but I just checked. The smallest they have is M8.
From McMaster:
Hex Head Cap Screw Grade 8.8
M7—Pitch: 1 mm; Head: Wd. 11 mm; Ht. 4.8 mm
Lg Thread Desc. Pkg Qty P/N Unit Price
20 Fully Threaded 25 91280A414 5.74
25 Fully Threaded 25 91280A416 6.30
30 Fully Threaded 25 91280A418 6.87
What I was looking for was a flanged bolt in 10.9 strength. Thanks for the find though. I would prefer to use these if I could, given the huge price difference.
Any idea if a cap screw could be used instead of the flanged style?
and
Is 8.8 strong enough even if 10.9 is what came off?
I used the Opel ones from ARP. Get in touch with Karo at car customs, I think they go for 50 for the set, and you only need 6, can always sell the extra 2 to someone and they can piece together an entire set.
I already got those and they are M10x1.25. The part number is 209-2801 if anyone wants to know but I'm looking for the 6 M7 bolts that hold the pressure plate to the flywheel itself.
