hello i have F-23 with a 2.4l engine and i want to know if every 1988 to 1994 quad 4 clutch will fit a F-23 bolt on
i know the isuzu from 95 to 99 will not
i am looking for a stage 3 or 3+ or 4 spec clutch
thank you
Ok maybe im misreading this question but you are asking if clutches from a totally different transaxle will fit in your tranny? Im no Quad expert here but im pretty sure the answer is no but as far as the clutch did you try Aaron @ TTR?

If i may ask, what type of power are you planning on making to need a Stage 3, 3+ or 4? Thats a pretty broad range of power possibilities...
It beats a Honda!
if you decide to go with a spec..... which would be unfortunate from my research, i would say what ever one you get, be sure to get the + version. Otherwise your better alternative would be a Bully clutch.

Well Just to give you another option read
THIS THREAD. According to it you can use an isuzu clutch disc on an f23 trans. I just ordered the sam thing for my car since I'm replacing my rear main seal. I fugure it's worth the shot since my spec 2 clutch slips under wot shifts into 3rd with only like 10k on it..plus it only cost $167 shipped. Send the author a pm and see how it's holding up.
gotta pay to play and there are some members on here that sell bully clutches. but id rather spend the money and do it right the first time rather than be cheap on a major part.
Yes, a clutch from a 90-94 2.3 quad 4 will work in a 00-02 2.4 Jbody with a F23 trans.

Vince, while I agree with the whole pay to play moto. I just can't see spending what you paid for a clutch when i purchased my entire blower setup for that. Hell I spent money on my spec setup and it didn't last long. I'm only making 249whp and even less wtq. For the cost I'm going to give it a shot since no clutch manufacture's post info on their pressure plates, and I've even read articles stating that friction material plays a huge role in power is held by a clutch while maintaining a stock pressure plate. I'm willing to try it out, if it doesn't work well I'll eventually swap it out later.
im not saying spend what i did but a bully clutch is cheap and has had less issues than spec. not saying buy what i bought... but if you are aiming for 400, get a good clutch thats going to take the abuse no problem.
i have check every brand the
bully is stage 3 and 4 are 700$ to 800$
clutchmaster fx300 and fx400 are 500$ to 600$
spec stage 3 and stage 3+ are 450$ to 650$
i will got with a CLUTCH MASTER FX400
and also with 680cc injector wath is the MAX HP i can hope for in real life with my data
already check RC injector calculator
thanks alot
Vince I know what your saying, I personally don't know anyone who has used a bully clutch. I've had plently of people use spec in cobra's, camaros with good results. I'm just taking a shot in the dark on an alternative, while the car is apart. I'm not gental on my car at all, I enjoy gettin on it and roasting the tires at will, so for me changing clutches is part of the game.

What about the excedy clutch I've heard people talk about? i hear the pedal gets really hard, maybe with that one you can take that damn spring off the actual pedal and get some clutch feel back.
