i need to find a transmission for my car. most of the adds ive found are for sunfires... i have a 2003 ecotec cavalier. what year sunfire trans fits to my engine?? and all the cobalt transes ive found are cheaper than cavaliers and have less miles. will any of the cobalts transmissions fit to my motor?? i need help soon. im without a car and awaiting advice so i can order a trans and put it in.

any j body car (cavalier or sunfire) made from 02-05 with the 8th digit of the vin being an f will have a trans that will fit your car. the f35 from a cobalt will not fit your car without major modification.
