Ok so ive been looking around on here at other peoples clutch problems and such and alot of them sound similar to the problem im having..For a while now its been hard to shift in to any gears and when i come to a stop i sometimes have to pump the clutch pedal just to get it to go back in first. I just replaced my entire master cylinder with the new one i ordered. Came with clutch res. line and bleeder with fluid already in it ready to go..got it all hooked up and still no better than before..With the car off i can push the clutch pedal in slowly and hear a sweaking noise come from under the hood and can actually feel it in the pedal as it sweaks. It did this before i put the new master cylinder on too so i figure my only other option is the slave cylinder?
this is a 2004 cavalier btw..
I bet it's the fingers on the clutch.
