I was just wondering what normal transmisson temp is on our transmissons
and what temps people are running with a yank 3000 stall?

Mine doesnt go over 185 under normal driving, it is at about 200 at the end of the track when I race tho.

Do you have a transmission cooler? That seems a but on the high side, still safe though. As a rule of thumb you shouldn't be over 80 degrees above ambient temperature (75 outside + 80 = 155 maxish).
^Yes I have a tranny cooler. I may be a little high on the trans temp at the track(could be a guess) but I know its not above 200. I havent driven the car since last Aug.

It would be a little bit higher than stock. Was is the stock stall, 2500 (sorry, I don't have an auto)?
Mine was about the same with or without my Yank High Stall.
