I have a 5 speed getrag that I am going to place in my 2000 Cavy 2200 ohv. I currently have the 3 speed auto. If I Don't have a donor car and have to get the trans mount bracket off of a junk yard car, whats is the best way to remove the trans mount bracket without hindering any part of it i will need? I know this swap is going to be a pain in the .... , but I love a challenge. Also.... a little off subject, but can i switch another instrument cluster that "has" a tachometer without any modifications, or will I need to wire some stuff in?

Take a cut off tool with you and a compressor if they'll let you.Also TTR has swap brackets for manuals but they only show the front. My 96 didn't have a tach and I swapped a manual cluster from a RS cav in it and works great no problem. Not sure about the 00 because they changed clusters but I would think it'll work in theory.
