Im having a problem shifting into 4th gear after the car warms up...i can drive about 2 miles without it grinding but after that it grinds.
Sometimes if i double clutch or rev match it...it won't do it.
Any ideas?
If it only does it going into 4th, there is almost a 100% chance that it is the 4th gear synchronizer.
Usually cheaper to buy a used tranny then it is to open it up and replace a synchro. Also if you're into modding your cfar it might be a good time to replace your clutch if your tranny is out. And if you're serious a poly trans mount too.
I second the poly mounts, they are cheap and make a huge difference.
