Looking to buy a Isuzu 4.11 final drive. I believe this is from the early 1990's DOHC Isuzu? I apologize in advance to anyone who gets p/o that I posted this here. Thank you!
call transmission shop, thats where i got mine
How much did you pay for a new one? If you don't mind me asking.
i dont really remember since its been a couple of years. it wasn't new but in very good condition.
i paid something around 140-180 if my memory is right. that is canadian also....
Finding a new set of 4.11 gears is going to be very hard to find. I had a hard time finding new syncros for my rebuild 5 years ago. I ended up trading someone parts for their 4.11 gears. You would be further ahead to find a used tranny in the junkyard.

Ok I was able to find a used Trans. in the junkyard. (WOW) 1991 Geo Storm DOHC GSi. I have no idea how to do this swap but have been researching as much as I can. I have 1995-1996 Cavalier factory service manuals, but they don't break down the transmission really at all. Does anyone know of a manual I can buy to help me with this swap or even an online guide? thanks to anyone who can help!
WOW!!! That is great! Thank you, I'm going to print those off at work
I've got a set that I'll sell you if you still need one. I just bought a '93 Storm tranny for the diff. Both the ring gear and output shaft are in great shape, they look brand new.
Ring Gear...
Output shaft is the one in the middle, I'll just have to press the bearings and gears off of it for you.
Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.
Dude where were you like 8 hours ago? I just bought a storm trans!
Take it back, lol
Oh well...
