I'm not too familiar with shift cables.

B&M makes cables in various lengths.

What length would best work with my 03 F23?

none, because they don't come with the proper ends.


-edit: or rather should i say, no one makes the ends separately, and they're actually the part that wears out. so what you'd have to do is order a set from the dealer (~$200) measure, order the b&m set(~$150) and then make something to go between. not worth it.
