wondering if anyone has swapped a auto to a 5spd?

i was just seeing if anyone has ever swapped out a auto to a 5spd. is it hard. wat do i all need. thanks.

i had a auto car to start with then i thout i wanted a 5 speed so i swaped in a 5 speed now im going back to a auto for closer times at the track

if going to 5 speed you need to know how to weld as the mouts are diffrent and u will have to drill the fire wall for the slave the reast just bolts in

do a search it been ask a 1000 times lol but after u search if u have any more ?s feel free to pm me

Yes it has been done I did it on my 97 z24 you have to find a donor car for
The tranny mounts and the pcm or get yours re flashed and drill the hole for
The clutch master cylinder then you'll be golden


I just cant drive 55

so to get everything u need the donor cars PCM and mounts n can u use your own pcm and can u just go buy yourself some new tranny mounts

Yeah I took the tranny from a 98 bought the mounts from the dealer and had the wrecking yard
Cut off the frame with the brackets and I cut the brackets off the frame myself but you have to
Get a pcm for a 5 speed because the auto trans codes will put your car in limp in mode and
It will litterally burn out your exhaust flex collector I got the picture after I cracked my manifold.
Then buy your master and slave cylinders and start the fab work


I just cant drive 55
