I searched on here and found one of them. Not as many pics as I would have expected. Does anyone have the write up book marked with more pics? Speedracer seemed to think someone else had done a really great in detail install with pictures but i cant seem to find it. appreciate it ahead of time. thanks.
Did you find my post I made a few years ago? I know my pics got moved in my photobucket account, and I had to relink on one fo the later pages.

I went down today and picked up that plug part# 9120610 it was $20.72 W/tax at a GM dealership in JAX,
I hope to pull my trans in the next few days I can post some pics of it also, if you need ...
are you just pulling it or tearing it apart?
i did my clutch 20K ago and just did a motor swap so pulling it wont be the issue, tearing it apart is more of a task to me than the rest.

then for sure. can never have enough pics for this guy lol. im a very visual learner. the more pics the better. hell even another walkthrough/how to would never hurt at all. I would assume its not terribly hard but with never having tore one apart, dont have 100% confidence in myself haha. but im sure i can get it.
Cavy 2NV helped me with my install. Neither of us had been in side a FWD tranny before. It was easy.

Well hear are some pics from this weekends work..
After the trans was out remove the TOB and the black seal just under it to the right in pic.
Then you will need to remove the screw under the seal .. The case cant be split if this screw is not removed..
Then remove the Bell housing and you will see this . Notice the screw hole in the end of the shaft at the bottom of the pic ..This is the screw you must remove before you can split the case..
Remove the diff from the case it just lifts out ..
Remove the speed ring from the diff..
Remove the PITA clip and slide out the pin...
Install the Team green insert and put the trans back together and install it in the car and HAVE FUN ..
.
Hope this helps John Higgins also took some pics .He may have some shots I didnt get ...
perfect. straight forward. when you say the bolt hole, in the pic, you already have it pulled? or what screw hole in the end of the shaft.
im still waiting for mine to show up even though i dont have a car to put it in lol
the screw is under the black seal in the 1st pic .. the screw is in the 2nd pic ready to be removed from the shaft...
i get the one under the plug, but are you talking about the screw you have half cocked sitting . you are referring to them as the same screw correct lol? i think i get what it is.
Yes thats correct.. The screw that is tilted in the 2nd pic goes in the end of the bottom shaft in the 3rd pic..

gotcha. i wasnt counting the first pic with the plug still in. makes sense and it really does look super easy lol. right now my trans is leaking out the bottom right under the diff. between the two star bolts. i hope its just needs some new rtv on it to seal it and i hope it comes apart there so i can re seal it. thanks for the help.
