do they make a flywheel for the automatics? I know they have stall converters.

So, the answer is no.

The flexplate (auto) or flywheel (manual) is what bolts to the crankshaft.

In an auto, the torque converter is bolted to the flexplate (accessed thru the starter hole). In a manual, the clutch plate sits next to the flywheel, and is held in place by the clutch cover. The clutch cover is bolted to the flywheel.

if you're looking for a lightened flexplate... I don't think you'll find one. The flexplate only weighs about a pound as it is... much lighter than any flywheel.

The have a different name because the flexplate doesn't have the same purpose as a flywheel. A flywheel is suppose to add mass to the system in order to keep it from slowing down so much when a load is applied to the system.

Most people with an Auto actually seem to look for a flexplate plate that is heavier and can stand more power, or at least in the V8 world.

a flywheel has a machined surface for the clutch and the ring gear is replaceable. a fexplate has holes drilled in it for the torque converter to bolt on and the ring gear is welded on. flywheels are fairly heavy to keep the momentum of the crank. a flexplate ony weights a few pounds but being the torque converter is bolted to it, the weight of the tc does the same thing as the flywheel.

Not all flywheels have a replaceable ring gear.

The torque converter and the flex plate together, become a flywheel.
Flywheel is an inertia wheel of sorts.

To get on track with what I think you are trying to ask. "Is there a company that makes aftermarket flexplates for Cavaliers?" The anwser would be NO. I just finished my Trans build maybe 2 months ago and looked far and wide to find a stronger flexplate with no luck. What I ended up doing was had a brand new OEM flexplate cryotreated.
