I've had the transmission sitting in the garage since the end of april.
When I pulled it out of the Z24 it shifted through the gears fine and dandy.

Well pulled it out of storage the other and low and behold.. it'll stay in neutral, and go to select low gears but you cant go into 1st or 2nd, 3rd or 4th and can get up to 5th or reverse.
A friend told me it'll shift fine after filling up with fluid, I just wanted to know if thats the issue here or if something happened to it in storage and its shot.

this is using the linkage directly on the transmission, not even using the shift cables and shifter.

I know the tranny is in neutral as the input and transaxel will turn fine.


So will the tranny not shift because it has been sitting for so long with no fluids,
or is the tranny busted?

Well I got the tranny installed, motor running and the tranny seems to be stuck in gear.
On the shifter it'll go in neutral between 3/4 and 5/R but wont go near 1/2


Any ideas?
