shifting problems

I have a 2004 cavalier 5 speed, my girlfriend pulled into a parking spot today and the car stalled. Then when she tried to restart it, it starts but you can not put it into gear, there is no clutch pressure, the master cylinder is full of fluid and every time the clutch is pumped we can see the fluid moving through. Any ideas of what it might be??

so took out the tranny, clutch is not bad but would have to replace very soon anyways, as we took out the tranny thought we found a small cut in the hose that goes to the slave cylinder.
