Hey, I went to change my manual transmission fluid but the drain plug was stripped. I ordered a new plug, but was wondering how could I get the old one out?
Thanks
Turkey baster through the fill hole is pretty much your only option, without dropping the whole trans.

He's asking how to remove the old plug dude...
Your best bet is to retap the hole and if there isn't enough metal then a Helicoil.
it sounds like he stripped the head on the bolt. zach you are a tard. u cannot tap a hole when there is a plug in there.
weld another head on to the bolt, and torque it off.
that's about the only way to do it.
Is the head rounded off? I think that's what you mean if you only bought a new plug.
You can use something like
this from sears. I've had luck with them. If it is in fact just rounded off I'd start with a vice grips, locked down tight. Should come out.
