will the 5 speed isuzu bolt up to a 2000 2.4?? is there any modifications that i would have to do.... I'm planning on changing my car over to a 5 speed and might be able to get a 96 sunfire parts car for cheap.... would it be easier to just get a getrag?? or is there much difference?

any help would be greatly appriciated...

As long as the donor car is also a 2.4L. Differential is better on the Getrag though.

The big change you have to make is cutting out the auto trans mount plate and welding in two mounts for the manual transmission. The two manual mounts are slightly different between a 95-99 Isuzu trans and a 00-05 Getrag trans, so you'll have to find the right mounting brackets for your application.
