Ok, so for the last few months my 5 speed has been acting up kinda oddly... basically about 50% of the time it shifts smoothly, no resistance, its great, just like it should be.
Then, the other 50% of the time its ridiculously hard to shift. The other night i had been sitting in 5th going down the freeway for about 40 minutes and then when getting off the freeway i went to shift into 4th and it flat out would not shift. It would go into neutral and its like there was no slot for 4th gear. Then the next day it will be back to normal again.
Please help!!! lol whats wrong with my carrr!!!
Same thing has been happening to me lately. Would like to know the actual cause of this problem.

if that doesnt cure it, i believe it may be your shift cables.

Is it possible still to find the shifter cables "new" still anywhere that's available?
