sounds like your driving habits need to change and not something with the car.

the shaft that comes out of the tranny has a "PIN" that holds the shift lever on to it, the one the cables hook up to.
I broke the same "pin" two times in my first trans(lasted 121K). the "FIX" that ended up working the longest was to take a grade 8 1/4" bolt, pound it in, and grind it down so it cleared the housing... so i could still shift, Then to keep it there, i welded it in.
The OE "pin" is a Double steel Role pin IE one inside another. harder and better then the grade 8 bolt.
BUT, to "do it right" the whole shift mechanism has to get replaced, cost is around 400 dollars.
Have fun.

I'm thinking it's one of the pins on the linkage... but a turbo wouldn't cause that to happen, hard shift's do...
Maybe be easier on your shifting?

I will admit I have abused the @!#$ out of my shifter and never broken that pin.
I did it 3 times, but never broke the nylon shift fork pads....
Oh well, i guess after 120K of racing.. it did not owe me anthing... But the Luk\OE clutch did out last the trans......
Now, If only spe(c)k could say that....
Ron, Im going to go kiss your "A$$"
