YaY lost top gear in the 2.3Z (Auto) today.

Well today someone just thought it would be fun instead of waiting to merge behind me to just pull out and make me stop or go around them. I for the most part just move out the way, but since the car was going so slow on the off ramp I was just going to go by them and let them come in behind me since there was no car for miles! So instead of slaming on the brakes I just hit the gas shifting down into 3rd to go around the person, but when I let up on the gas it just did nothing. So my next thing I thought to do is take it down into the 3rd and then back into Drive. Nothing but reving. So since I'm 95.7% sure that the old trans out of the ex's 97Z will bolt up I will be swaping that out Thursday and Friday with maybe a newer sub frame. To get the new trans ready should I just put all new fluid in it and leave it at that, or anything else. This is just a beater I don't realy care about.

LoL you mean old open stuff will not work? Damn... Some guy was selling extra for cheap as hell... To put fresh in the converter and the trans is how much? I'm thinking 4-5 if I'm right let me know. I hate having to ask in the store.
