A few months ago I wrote on another thread that I was having problems with my clutch and haydraulic system getting air in it and giving me a problem shifting alot of the time. I had my clutch flywheel, master and slave cylinders replace in feb of 08 and i have to take my car back to the shop to be rebled every other week. they have replaced both master and slave cylinders twice a peice and have used both aftermarket and oem, but still have problems with them. after christmas Im gonna take it back and let them work some more on it and if it doesnt get fixed i may take it to another shop for a 2nd opinion. My big question at this point because yeah i have read alot of threads saying that even new slaves or master can mess up quick and can be a trial and error situation, but Im worried about how my shifting feels when i change gears. Its not so much 1 particular gear, but it seems like and gear usually just gives me a hard time getting into it. When its freshly bled, its not so bad but it still feels like its scratching against something and if I shift a little faster than usual, it will feel like it stops midway and then i have to pull it again to finish the shift. Could this be the shifter cables? The guy at the shop said that was normal and was just the way this clutch was. As always i appriciat all your help.
im a retard and forgot to say that this is a 98 cavalier 2200 5-speed manual
I got news for you. It's not the clutch or cylinders. The problem you bent your shift forks. You need to replace them or a new trans.

I would not be soo quick to jump to that.
If you are truly getting air in the pressure system, then it is the TOB/Slave unit, clutch master, of the line running from the clutch mastyer to the TOB. Thats all it can be.
Now do you know 100% it is getting air in the system? Also have them check the bolts on the pressure plate to make sure they are tight. Also could be the shifter cables. isuzu cables are known for stretching.
